They really do make great subject matter Tim, I love the little ‘staircase’ lovely rich colours & well exposed for (easy to blow the paler bits of fungi) that light streak of grass bottom left just tends to drag my eye away a tad, none the less, very nice indeed,
Don
Nicely composed. I like the title too. The diagonal is a very good use of the subject.
Really beautiful, Tim. As well as the composition, the use of focus is very appealing. I’m not sure about the grasses at the bottom left, as Don says they are maybe a bit distracting but at the same time the cooler blues provide a good counter to the warmer yellows of the fungi.
I agree with Doug, the focus is great and it looks as though it may have been a bit tricky. Some lovely rich tones in the fungus and nice detail in the mosses. The grass doesn’t worry me, in fact I like the way you have include some top right as a balance.
loving the textures Tim, nice find and capture mate

Very nice Tim, they look delicious. I love what 100f does to wood.
Nice!
Lovely detail that beautifully captures the season. Nice work, Tim. All the best.
